Why did NBA leave Vancouver?

NBA left Vancouver after a dispute regarding arena financing. The City was expected to contribute $40m towards the construction of a brand new basketball arena. This meant that the city had to borrow $200m to construct the arena. But the team owners would only have to pay back $20m. The City Council said they were willing to go ahead with the plan if the NBA agreed to stay at Rogers Arena until after the opening of the new facility. But the league refused to agree, saying the arena wasn't big enough for them anymore. It was too small for them to continue playing there. Although the province was willing to donate $150 million, the City Council still needed additional $100 million. How to get to the Toronto Raptors game from where you are

Toronto Raptors events take place at Air Canada Centre, (ACC), downtown Toronto, Ontario Canada. TTC's subway system can take you to ACC. Union Station takes about 30 minutes to get to ACC. Bay Street station is the nearest stop to ACC.

Bay Street station is the best way to get to ACC if you are coming from Union Station. Follow the signs for ACC from Bay Street Station. If you arrive at ACC from another direction, please follow the signs to Bay Street station.

From Bay Street Station, follow the signs towards the ACC.

The venue can be accessed by people with disabilities. Individuals with disabilities can use the designated seating areas. In addition, the ACC offers sign language interpretation services.
